HAWT

It’s a dream.
It’s wubbly.
It’s kewl.
It’s… Opera. *wub*
Firefox, (which started being all slow and popupy on me recently) messed up on me for the umpteenth time today, so I screamed on it on the IRC room and Aaron told me about how Ooera was now completely ad free. I tried it, and no pop-ups, no complicated things… it rawks.
Of course, now I’ll have to learn to switch from Alt-T to Alt-N for tabs, but I’ll stick with this for a while. :D

  1. Wheeee! :w00t:

Your’s is a similar situation to what mine was. I too, found Firefox to be slow and crashed an awful lot, still does when I try out stuff to see how it renders :ermm:
So I switched to Opera, I really do like it.

Of course, now I’ll have to learn to switch from Alt-T to Alt-N for tabs

Tools » Preferences » Advanced » Shortcuts » Edit in Keyboard preferences.
In the search box, type new page. In any of the top results, double-click the shortcut (such as alt n or something), then enter ctrt t or the same thing the other way around. Exit it all and it changes it.

See, I couldn’t be bothered to learn a new keyboard shortcut too :P
