Amazingly, this is not directed to the SVs. But it will soon. 
Anyways, yesterday (I’m lazy) I drove down Main St and wham, another car hit my bumper and technically imploded my trunk. Turns out the guy was talking on a cell phone (I’m not sure if they outlawed talking on a cell phone in NJ….) and completely did not see me. Now I’m stuck with a damaged car and a large bill. But insurance helps. 
Now I’m stuck in my house for a few days, since I work about a few miles away, and I am completely confused on what bus or trian to take, so I’ll be on more than usual. (No, friends can’t drive me there because they work too.)
Thank goodness for airbags.
i crashed my car as well today… i feel your pain (although i actually crashed it, rather than someone hitting me).
